A Jobs Broker can support you with:
- Jobs Skills Action Plan - to help you move forward in your career
- Identifying any training needs you may have and help you in accessing relevant courses across the city
- Matching your skills to current and up and coming vacancies
- Preparing your CV and completing application forms
- Specialist help and advice with health issues
- Managing any existing debt and provide advice on back to work calculations
- Assistance in your search for jobs
- Your preparation for interview
- Access to funding for interview clothes, travel allowance, support with your childcare costs while you attend your interview
- Overcoming any barriers and challenges in finding work.
Once you have been offered a job, you can be introduced to a Post Employment Support Worker, who will continue to support both you and your new employer when you start work (if necessary).
A Post Employment Support Worker can:
- Deal with any queries or concerns you might have that could effect you staying in your new job
- Work with your employer to address any training needs or developmental needs that you may have
- Continue to support you for up to 6 months once you start your new job.

Jobs Bus
LEGI also fund the Local Jobs Group Jobs Bus which regularly visits the LEGI areas. The bus brings up to date job opportunities and staff provide advice on gaining employment.
