Based in the local community, LEGI Workmates provide one-to-one support and advice to help you take the next step towards employment or starting a business.

LEGI Workmates are experienced at working with people from a variety of communities and backgrounds and will meet individuals in cafes, local shops, community centres and at events.

LEGI Workmates will provide on-going tailored support to help you overcome your personal barriers such as debt, lack of confidence, health issues or housing and benefit. This support can include childcare assistance, transportation costs to meetings or interviews and training.

When you feel ready to take definite steps towards self-employment, you will meet with a LEGI Mentor who will continue to give one-to-one advice and support and help you continue on your LEGI journey.
