Coventry's Local Enterprise Growth Initiative, or LEGI for short, is an exciting and flexible new initiative providing a wide range of support services to help you start your own business, assist an existing business or help you move into work.

LEGI will promote and encourage prosperity in Coventry, help generate wealth and make Coventry a great place to do business.

LEGI is part of the Coventry Partnership, the umbrella group for organisations who have agreed to work together to promote and improve the city of Coventry as a place to live, work or play.

How can it help me?

LEGI is funded by the Government and Coventry was successful in winning over £12 million to work with local people and businesses to help transform Coventry into a city of enterprise, over a three year period, 2006-2009.

Coventry was in fact only one of 20 areas across the country to have won LEGI funding, and the only one in the West Midlands.

At the heart of the LEGI programme is its work to engage and inspire local people to believe they can fulfil their dreams. If you live or are looking to start a business in the LEGI areas of the city, you will be able to access a range of co-ordinated, high quality services that will:
